Hi! I'm Navjeet Doad. I'm a 2nd year Mathematics student at the University of Waterloo, and I plan to major in Combinatorics and Optimization.
I'm currently working as a Data Scientist Intern at Legacy Leaders Inc. I love having the ability to create code which will be meaningful, and I aspire to have a career where I can inspire change with my programming abilities, whether it be in software development or in the data analytics science.
Currently, I am working at Legacy Leaders Inc. on a project called DonarCompass, which is a state of the art tool that provides non-profit organizations with a way to measure the quality of a donater based on their past donation history to the organization. I am currently aiding in the machine learning and data science aspect of this project, while leveraging tools such as Python, pandas, sklearn, matplotlib, Microsoft Excel and SQL.
Worked with Rogers Sports and Media section on an artifical intelligence use case. In my time here, I leveraged Microsoft Azure Computer Vision to enhance Rogers Sports and Media's tracking of NHL players in live game footage. In the end, my group and I were able to create a machine learning object detection model that operated with 87% accuracy.
A functional graphic design application that includes features such as painting, text, flood-filling, polygon tools and undo/redo capabilities. Created using Python and the pygame framework.
